PocketWizard has announced its ControlTL wireless radio TTL flash control system for studios. The PowerST4 and AC9 AlienBees adapter combine to offer remote power control over flashes or mixes of studio flash and Speedlites.

The PowerST4 Receiver is designed specifically for Elinchrom RX series lights and offers remote power control functionality when paired with either the PocketWizard MiniTT1 Transmitter or FlexTT5 transceiver. The unit also benefits from an on-board USB connection, making firmware updating a breeze to keep the device current.

The AC9 AlienBees Adapter attaches the the top shoe of a FlexTT5 Transceiver and then attaches to an AlienBees or White Lighting studio light through a remote jack on the light. The device then offers single zone or three-zone power control.

Both devices are in their final stage of firmware testing, with the PowerST4 due to ship in June, and the AC9 available in July. For more information, visit the PocketWizard website.
