General Imaging, the exclusive worldwide licensee of GE-branded digital cameras, is exhibiting two new digital cameras at this year?s Photokina event.
As well as its existing range of eight cameras, General Imaging has introduced the E1055W (far right) and A1030.
The E1055W boasts 10.1 megapixels, a large 3 inch high resolution LCD screen, and aspheric all-glass lens. Along with some of the more standard features, it also has blink and smile detection, in-camera panoramic stitching and a movie recording capability. The 28mm (35mm equivalent) wideangle lens combined with a 5x optical zoom and a 4.5x digital zoom allows for both close-ups and fairly wide group shots.
The A1030 is a small camera that also comes with face, blink and smile detection, image stabilisation, and red-eye removal as well as 14 different scene modes.
Coming in a 10 megapixels, this camera has a 2.5 inch LCD screen, is powered by AA batteries, and has a 3x optical zoom and 4.5x digital zoom.
