Pentax has announced the latest addition to its growing waterproof range of cameras in the shape of the WS80.

The newest addition features slightly weaker waterproofing than its stablemates – just 1.5m compared to 5m of the W60 – but still offers a range of functionality in line with standard compact cameras.

The WS80 features a 10MP sensor, 5x optical zoom and 2.7in LCD screen. What’s more is that the WS80 also features 720p HD video capture, as well as both dirt and dust proofing.
