Olympus has announced the latest competitor in the style-compact arena, in the shape of the mju 1060. The compact features a broad specification, encompassing a 7x optical zoom, 3in HyperCrystal LCD and Dual Image Stabilisation.

The mju 1060, available in Starry Silver, Midnight Black and Cyan Green, also features a selection of improvements on current trend technologies, such as ?advanced? face detection, shadow adjustment technology and the all-new intelligent auto mode, which combines all the camera?s capabilities into one and selects the best.

What?s more, the mju 1060 now offers compatibility with both xD and microSD card, meaning size is kept to an even more minimum.
