Nikon has revealed it is to hold a two-day conference-led professional photographic show on the 5th and 6th of December. Now in its second year, the show will involve industry experts showcasing technologies and techniques to help visitors develop their skills.

Nikon says a collection of seminars and interactive demonstrations will cover a range of topics over the two-day event, from shooting the perfect portrait to devising complete workflow solutions. Nikon will have its full professional product range on display including the recently announced D2xs SLR and the Creative Lighting System. Thanks to a live wireless network, visitors will be able to send their images directly to a printing station ready to be scrutinised.

Apple, Adobe, Epson, HP and Mitsubishi are some of the companies expected to exhibit at the event. Nikon has also teamed up with a range of media partners including Amateur Photographer magazine, which will be supporting the event.

The show is divided into three key zones including Action, Expert Seminars and Exhibitor Stands. Nikon’s Professional Business Manager, Chris Hoare said: “After the initial success of last year’s Solutions Expo I am very excited to be once again delivering such a prestigious event in partnership with some of the premier brands in the digital imaging market. Last year’s event was a great success and Nikon is keen to build on this momentum in the 2006 event”.

Opening times are from 10am until 5pm on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th December. Attendance is free but as places are limited so visitors must pre-register at www.solutions-expo.co.uk
