Nikon has announced is latest super telephoto lens, in the form of the AF-S 200-400mm f/4. The lens features a host of new and existing technologies aimed at improving image quality with such a large focal range.
The 200-400mm f/4 offers a new generation of Vibration Reduction technology (VRII), as well as Nikon’s Nano Crystal Coat for less ghosting a flare. Finally, the lens features a new A/M mode which enables autofocus priority even if the focus ring is being handled during shooting.
As you’d expect, such a serious bit of kit doesn’t come cheap – the 200-400mm has an RRP of £6,249.99, and will be available at the end of next month.
