This accessory has caused quite a stir and enables the use of SLR lenses on APS-C and Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. In essence it’s the opposite of a teleconverter and rather than increasing the focal length and reducing the aperture, it decreases the focal length by a factor of 0.71x and increases the maximum aperture by one stop.
