National Geographic magazine has teamed up with Manfrotto to produce a new range of travel photography supports and tripods.

The National Geographic range includes an automatic-leg model built for fast assembly, a lightweight carbon fibre tripod and two ?Tundra? tripods. These latter models promise lightweight construction combined with a choice of a ball head or 3-way pan head. A monopod is also available.

Complimenting the pro tripods are two Expedition Hydrostatic Heads. Employing a new hydraulic system, the heads can be locked solidly in place, while a rubber bellows system is designed to prevent dust and debris entering the ball section.

A further range of carrying solutions, dubbed The Earth Explorer series is manufactured using environmentally friendly materials ncluding hemp and cotton. Made up of two backpacks, two shoulder bags and an accessory pouch, the range is finished in khaki.
