Lexmark has introduced a new addition to its photo printer line-up; the P450 is the first printer to incorporate a CD burner.
Producing 6x4in prints, the P450 can burn images directly from a memory card to CD, making it a useful method of archiving.
It can print directly from a range of memory cards including: SecureDigital, Memory Stick Pro, Smart Media, xD-Picture and CompactFlash, from a PictBridge-enabled digital camera or from a Bluetooth-enabled phone (with an optional adaptor.)
The 2.4in LCD screen can be used for previewing photographs and can be used for performing basic edits like red-eye removal, cropping, rotating and colour fixing, along with sepia and antique grey filters.
Najib Bahous from Lexmark comments: ?The Lexmark P450 brings more photo processing functions to the home. People can now save and organise their digital photos on CD, print from a cell phone, view their photos on a television and much more.?
The Lexmark P450 will retail for £149.99 and is available in October. Lexmark has introduced a 6×4-inch printing kit for £27.99 at a cost of 29p per photo. Find out more at www.lexmark.co.uk or by calling 08704 440044.
