Lexar has added high-speed CompactFlash and Secure Digital cards to its flash memory line-up.
Designed for use with digital SLRs, the Professional Series cards are speed rated 133X with a minimum write speed of 20MB a second.
Incorporated into the cards is Lexar Write Acceleration Technology, which enables supported cameras to exchange and store images more quickly. This, Lexar claims , results in near-instantaneous transfer speeds.
John Omvik from Lexar comments: ?Our new 133X cards allow digital SLR cameras to optimally perform? to transfer images and information almost instantaneously, beneficial in a number of ways to the photographer?s digital imaging workflow.?
Supplied with each card is: photo-recovery program Image Rescue 2.0, a USB 2.0 card reader and a trial version of browsing software Photo Mechanic 4.0.
