HP has announced a new series of Photosmart printers that arrive complete with a unique ‘TouchSmart’ touch-sensitive screen technology.

The new series features five models, the HP Photosmart C4680, HP Photosmart, HP Photosmart with Wireless, HP Photosmart Plus and HP Photosmart Premium.

The Photosmart C4680 offers scanning, copying and printing, as well as featuring a 3.7cm colour display screen with touch buttons for easy operation, while the Photosmart and Photosmart with wireless run off of a different ink cartridge compliance and the latter offering wireless functionality.

The HP Photosmart Plus, meanwhile, featuring a 6.1cm TouchSmart screen, allowing printing without the need to connect to a PC, and also runs off of the HP 364 series ink cartridges, comprising of four individual cartridges for high print quality in both text and colour prints.

The HP Photosmart Premium completes the lineup, and offers the most extensive specification. A large 8.9cm TouchSmart screen features, as does built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet capabilities for wireless printing. Duplex printing capability is also offered, as in HP 364 series ink cartridges, while the unit is also ENERGY STAR certified.
