Delkin?s eFilm Archival Gold range now contains DVD-R?s, available at speeds of 4x and in capacities of 4.75Gb. Tests by Delkin indicate a storage period of 100 years.
The characteristics of gold include its resistance to humidity and temperature. When incorporated into a DVD-R, it can aid in the resistance of oxidation, enabling the discs to withstand factors such as light and heat better than conventional DVD-R?s.
