Fujifilm has announced a pair of new compacts that boast a striking new design.

The most striking of the pair is the new Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP. The 10MP compact features a body which is just 20mm thick, and incorporates picture stabilisation and face detection technology, as well as scene recognition and ‘group’ and ‘couple’ self timer modes.

The models crowning glory, however, is that it packs this burgeoning specification into a body which is waterproof to a depth of three meters.

The second colourful compact is the Fujifilm FinePix Z30. The model is designed for the ‘fashion savvy’, being available in Fuchsia Pink, Jet black, Pure White or Tangy Orange, and boasts a core specification similar to that of the Z33WP.
