Picasa is new piece of free software from Google that can be used for managing, organising and editing digital photographs.
Incorporating a host of editing tools including: 12 filter effects, red-eye removal, cropping, colour and lighting effects, zooming and straightening. Picasa enables you to organise your photographs with captions, labels and stars and it can automatically search your hard drive to find images before sorting them by date.
Photos can be incorporated into slideshows and archived onto CD or DVD with personalised CD covers, you can also printed in a range of different sizes and incorporate multiple images on a sheet. Users can also order prints online. Picasso can be used with a range of email providers and other Google products like Gmail.
