Casio’s latest compact, the Exilim EX-ZS100, offers a number of impressive features from the 14MP sensor through to the 12.5x optical zoom. The stand-out element being highlighted by Casio, however, is the Silent Mode, which reduces the amount of noise the camera creates to avoid disturbing quieter areas. 

With a 24mm wide angle lens and 720p HD movie mode the ZS100 seems perfect for any number of museums or churches where unwanted noise would be frowned upon. The mode also disables the flash, making the process of taking an image far less intrusive. 

Elsewhere a 2.7inch LCD screen and an Advanced Easy mode are offered, as well as USB charging and USB tracking. The Casio Exilim EX-ZS100 will be priced at £149.99 and available from the 18th of this month. For more information on Casio head to www.casio.co.uk.
