Eye-Fi is a WiFi ready SD card that allows you to upload your images straight from your camera through your local router. After huge success in the US it finally comes to the UK on the 19th October
The Eye-Fi is a regular SD card with a built-in Wi-Fi transmitter. It then uses you home network (you can add upto 32 locations) once in range, to automatically upload your images to one of 25 popular sharing sites. The cards comes in a range of capacities and types: 2GB Home, 4GB Share Video, 4GB Explore video, and Pro, which allows transfer of Raw files. The cards are compatible with over 1000 cameras (a full list is available on their website) and will be available for the first time in the UK on Octboer 19th.
