Canon’s new CanonScan 9000F will be of definite interest to photographers archiving film and print content, as it offers the ability to acquire both subjects in impressively high-res quality. The scanner doesn’t simple cater for 35mm either, with the likes of slides and 120 format also available for conversion into a digital file.
The 9,600 x 9,600 48 bit colour depth should mean detail will be exemplary, and auto scanning to e-mail or PDF makes for a far faster workflow. The Canon CanoScan 9000F will be available in June for £229. More information is at www.canon.co.uk.
