Fuji has started 2010 with a bang, announcing 16 cameras varying from basic compacts up to a fixed lens bridge camera offering DSLR-like features. Also released was a new tough model, as well as long zoom compacts and plenty of beginner-end compacts.
The undoubted star of the show is the HS10 though, with a massive 30x Fujinon optical zoom lens, full manual controls and HD video recording. The EXR technology is the only real feature conspicuous by it’s absence, as the low light technology has been lauded when appearing in the compact and superzoom range. For an all-in-one model offering the budding photographer everything they’ll need the HS10 looks like an excellent prospect, and well worth a look.
