Fujifilm has announced two additions to its entry-level A series of compact cameras – the AV100 and AX280.

The AV100 features a 12MP sensor and 3x Fujinon zoom, while the AX280 offers a 14MP sensor and 5x optical zoom, featuring a 28mm wide-angle.

The models share certain aspects of their specification. Both offer maximum ISO 3200, along with digital image stabilisation. The pair also both offer HD video capture, scene recognition and face detection.

No word on pricing or availability yet, but stay tuned for more information.
