Canon Powershot SX210 IS review

Rather unusual to see a review being so positive about this camera, when most of the sample photos i have seen by users of this camera and other reviews hows very poor details, which are made to look pleasant by noise reduction.

I just bought one of these at short notice at the airport. Apart from natural blur from camera shake at high zoom, I have found it as good as my Canon G11 for pic quality when you bring it into its comfort zone. Hoping for a firmware to dump the flash popping up by default.

I agree. I'm very surprised this review is so positive. I have one of these and am really disappointed with the image quality and detail. Being a loyal Canon owner for 20 years and have spend probably 10k on camera gear, this is the only disappointing product I've ever had from them. I don't want it. My old compact was better at only 6MP.

Each camera has its own usage about sx210is this camera is very compact with versatile zoom, HD video and zoom during video recording image quality in adequate light is good and acceptable indoors and in low light conditions for 4*6 prints overall the quality is not as a premium compacts but you can carry it in your coat pocket for daily use or in journey as a light powerful company. I agree with your verdict.

i recently used my canon sx210is at a music concert and was very impressed with the clear focus pictures and the HD video is very clear quality and can get detail pictures from the still video footage, but i do have one thing i not like about the canon sx210is, is the pop up flash postion, it is in annoying postion and can be difficult holding sometimes, but i feel this is down to holding habits and once change habit, it will not be a problem.
