Wilkinson Cameras has announced that, as of 1st October 2007, they will take over the business of the ?Waddington Photographic? store in Southport, Merseyside.

The purchase includes the acquisition of fixtures, fittings, goodwill and existing stock, but not the limited company.

The store?s present owner Laurence Waddington plans to take a well-deserved rest after nearly fifty years in the photo business, leaving Wilkinson Cameras to take his place.

?Waddington Photographic? will add to Wilkinson Camera?s existing seven retail stores and is ideally located just twenty miles from their Head Office in Preston, as well as the large catchment area of both West Lancashire and Liverpool.
