Kodak has announced three new additions in its Z series, with strong zoom ranges and HD recording at the helm of their specifications.

The Z1085 and Z1285 feature 10 and 12MP sensors respectively, also sporting 5x optical zoom lenses (35-175mm equivalent). In addition to recording HD format video, both cameras also are able to display still images on HD supporting televisions.

The Z8612 IS, meanwhile, features an 8MP sensor and 12x optical zoom lens ? the latter covering an equivalent focal range of 36-432mm, in 35mm terms. The model also supports HD image capture in 16:9 widescreen format.
