Street Walker range designed for urban snappers

American outfit Think Tank Photo has designed three new backpacks specifically for urban photographers who shoot on crowded streets.

For the new StreetWalker range, the company has focused upon slimline designs so that photographers can get through the crowds without being impeded by a bulky bag, but also access their camera quickly.

The smallest model will hold a DSLR with a 70-200mm lens attached and includes a monopod/tripod mounting system, a contoured harness and air channel for increased comfort. Plus there are lots of pockets and organisers for the $139 price tag.

Next up is the $159 StreetWalker Pro which is just a bit bigger than the standard bag, and finally, for those who carry a laptop, there’s the StreetWalker HardDrive. This $179 bag will hold most 15 inch laptops and a DSLR with a 70-200mm lens attached, as well as offering all of the extras you get in the smaller models.

As an aside, the StreetWalker range was designed by a female photojournalist and as such are claimed to be great for women as well as men as the shoulder straps have been engineered to fit a wide range of body shapes.
