Ricoh has unveiled a limited special edition version of its GR compact camera.

The magnesium alloy body that was so well-received on the GR has been ‘sheathed’ in a metallic green wave-tone high-gloss finish

The black grip is made with ebony for a wood-grain finish, and the mode dial and settings buttons have been coloured in charcoal.

A number of accessories are also available with the new limited edition Ricoh GR, including a lens hood and adapter as well as a chocolate-tinted leather case and strap.

The Ricoh GR is a terrific camera that deservedly earned a WDC Gold Award back in June. Matt Golowczynski praised its light but sturdy design and fast shot-to-shot performance. All the internal features of the first GR have been preserved for the new limited edition release, including the 16MP APS-C sensor and the sharp 1.3mm f/2.8 lens.

The limited edition Ricoh GR will be available from mid-November, priced £699.99
