Photobox, the UK's top online printing service, has now made it possible for users to print directly from their images on Flickr, the world's biggest photo sharing site.

Photobox, the UK’s most popular online printing service, has now made it possible for users to print their images in Flickr, the world’s biggest photo sharing site.

A new ‘Print from Flickr’ button on the Photobox site takes users to their Flickr log-in page or, if already logged in, a window displaying their Flickr photostream. A drop down menu enables users to select specific sets, and images are selected for printing simply by clicking on them. In addition to prints, users can also make photobooks, calendars and other gifts.

Although Photobox does offer its own photo sharing galleries, this new feature is a clear acknowledgement that many customers prefer to use Flickr for this, and would previously have had to re-upload their images to Photobox to use their printing service.

The move is great news for UK-based Flickr users who are currently unable to use Flickr’s own printing service, which is for US customers only.
