A new model is to be added to Pentax?s T-series. The 7MP T20 represents an upgrade to the Optio T10, and benefits from touch-screen programming, on-screen image manipulation and high-definition playback. Housed within a slim 19.5mm body, the Optio T20 is defined by a 3.0-inch, high-definition LCD monitor, which allows viewing and a touch-screen control system for programming the camera.
The Optio T20 comes with a ?My Drawing? mode, which enables users to customize shots in-camera. Using a stylus pen, users can create their own picture by writing directly on the image shown on the monitor or adding a stored illustration with a Stamp function. The camera also has a function for storing favourite photos as original stamps.
Twelve shooting modes cover conditions such as Portrait, Landscape, Flower, or Night Scene. Selecting the mode is simplified using the touch display and Mode Palette, which displays Pentax?s original mode icons on the LCD monitor. In addition the camera can capture 30fps movie clips, is PictBridge compatible and supports SD memory cards.
The Optio T20 will hit UK stores in October with a retail price of £249.99. Find out full details at www.pentax.co.uk
