Pentax UK has announced the release of the Optio S10.

The slim and stylish new compact features all the trappings associated with current high-end compacts such as 10MP CCD sensor, digital shake reduction and face-recognition.

The headline feature of the S10 however is its size. Despite the 10MP sensor, 3X optical zoom and large 2.5in LCD, it maintains one of the lightest bodies on the market thanks to miniaturising of the circuit board and high-density compact mounting technology.
