Launch of the D3X prompts software rehaul

The launch of the D3x DSLR has led Nikon to release some software updates.

Available now are updates for the Capture NX and Camera Control Pro software packages – the latter, which allows photographers to control their camera remotely from their computer.

As well as the D3x support and compatibility with Mac OSX 10.5.5, version 2.1.1 of Capture NX fixes a problem with GPS information not showing and also an error when photographers tried to set grey point on multiple images.
