Six politicians triumph at All-Party competition

The winners of the Jessops All-Party Parliamentary Photographic Competition 2009 have been announced, with six politicians scooping ‘judge’s choice’ awards.

Winning MPs include Austin Mitchell, Nick Raynsford, Peter Luff and Tim Loughton. Meanwhile, Lord Robertson and Lord Crathorne represented the Upper House, with the latter achieving two awards for different images.

The competition also saw the award of a ‘Constituency’ prize that was also awarded to Austin Mitchell.

Each winning entry receives a £100 bursary, donated to Barnardo’s on behalf of the photographer.

Jessops has created an online gallery of the winning entries, and is inviting you to vote for your favourite. One lucky voter will be selected in a prize draw and will receive £100 of Jessops vouchers, so why not visit the Jessops Parliamentary Photographic Competition website.
