HP has added three high-resolution flatbed photo scanners retailing for under u00a3100 to its Scanjet range. They are the Scanjet 3800, the 4370 and the 4850.
HP has added three high-resolution flatbed photo scanners retailing for under £100 to its Scanjet range. They are the Scanjet 3800, the 4370 and the 4850.
Retailing at £59.99, the Scanjet 3800 has a resolution of 4800 x 2400dpi and 48-bit colour. Meanwhile, the Scanjet 4370 has a resolution of 7200 x 3600dpi and 48-bit colour, retailing at £69.99. Items being scanned can be selected quickly using the ?fast preview? feature.
Both scanners feature a built-in transparent materials adaptor and can simultaneously scan two 35mm slides or three 6×4-inch photographs, which are then saved as individual files.
Described as being ?for the creative home?, the Scanjet 4850 offers a resolution of 9600 x 4800dpi and 48-bit colour. Featuring a transparent materials adaptor, it can scan up to four 6×4-inch photographs or four 35mm slides or six negatives at the same time. Retailing at £99, the 4850 has a hinged lid, enabling it to scan bulkier albums including books or 3D objects.
All three Scanjet models include HP Real Life Technologies, which can assist with red-eye removal, restore faded photographs, remove dust and scratches and brighten dimly lit sections. The supplied HP Image Zone software enables users to create albums from their scanned images.
The three scanners will hit the shops on August 1st.
