Ricoh has introduced the first DVD+R double layer disc that can be printed on by inkjet printers.
Compatible with Double Layer DVD-Video and DVD-ROM, the DVD+R 2.4x double layer disc has a capacity of 8.5Gb, which can record four hours of film at 4.5MB per second. Optimal recording and durability is promised because the discs are produced using Ricoh?s Inverted Stack process. It can be read by the majority of DVD players and DVD drives.
