Kingston Technology has announced the launch of a 512MB microSD memory card for use with multifunctional smartphones.

Kingston Technology has announced the launch of a 512MB microSD memory card. Designed to support multifunctional smartphones, the microSD card offers an increased memory capacity along with the reduced sized format required to store video downloads, high resolution images and 3D games.
Jim Selby, Product Marketing Manager for Kingston Technology commented: ?Alongside consumers upgrading their handsets to access news and entertainment on the move, a 512MB microSD memory card is also ideal for backing up address books, text messages, photos, data files and even your favourite ring tones.?
Kingston Technology?s new microSD cards come with a Secure Digital adapter that enables them to be used as a full-sized SD card. The 512MB capacity costs £28 and follows on from a 256MB model launched at last January?s Consumer Electronics Show. You can find out full details at www.kingston.com/uk
