Groundbreaking products due late 2009

Electronic firm CompoBank of South Korea is set to embrace 3D imaging technology with the launch of both a 7in digital photo frame and 3D digital camera, scheduled for late 2009.

Details of CompoBank’s prototypes have been released, with to company looking to make its products compatible with Fujifilm’s 3D camera, also expected later this year.

CompoBank’s prototype 3D digital camera features a parallax barrier 3D display, using two pictures to assemble the image. Said parallax images can be displayed on the firm’s digital photo frame, boasting a 800 x 480 resolution display.
