From now until the 31st October 2009 Canon is offering cashback to students on two of its DSLR cameras – the Canon EOS 450D and Canon EOS 500D. 

The Canon EOS 450D sees a £50 cashback across all configurations, with the Canon EOS 500D a £65 cashback also across all configurations. You have to be a photographic student at UK institutions (or lecturer/technician) to be eligible. Either camera can be purchased from any retailer, then simply fill out a claim form available from Canon’s website along with proof of UK academic accreditation (photocopy of NUS card, academic security pass or course acceptance letter) to the freepost address. A cheque will be returned within 28 days of receipt.
