Sony Ericsson is dialing up another winner with the announcement of two new second generation Cyber-shot camera phones, the K810i and K550i.

Sony Ericsson looks set to be dialing up another winner ? with the announcement of two new Cybershot camera phones. The K810i and K550i are the second generation of Cyber-shot branded models and will follow up last year?s K800i – which prompted over 4.5million sales of Cybershot phones.

Packing in 3.2 megapixels, the K810 features auto focus and a Xenon flash. Additional functions include a Photo fix editing facility that enables users to make basic improvements to their images.

Complimenting the launch will be the K550i Cyber-shot phone, which delivers similar features in a compact (14mm thin) handset. Equipped with a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus, an LED photo light and active lens cover, the phone also boasts Bluetooth technology and Picture blogging.

?Worldwide, consumers are realising that the best digital camera is the one you have with you,? says Steve Walker, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson. ?The K800i established this and positioned the Cyber-shot phone as a credible fusion of phone and camera. Now the K810i and K550i move the market forward by introducing new applications that equate to real improvements in the customer experience, as well as introducing these phones to a whole new audience.?
