Samsung announces the ST45 – an ultra slim aluminium-bodied compact at just 16mm in width. A new Smart Album Digital Contents Management system makes finding photos when using the Samsung ST45 that much quicker to find – by organising your shots based on date taken, colour, contents or themes, this automated program takes the work effort out of having to organise your images.

Combining multiple Samsung technologies, the 12 megapixel ST45 includes Digital Image Stabilisation, Smart Auto including Samsung’s Smart Scene Recognition with 11 presets to capture the best shot whatever the conditions, and Face Detection with a ‘Beauty Mode’ which softens skin to disguise blemishes. High sensitivity of ISO 3200 also features.

The Samsung ST45 is available from September and available in four colours – black, red, blue or grey. Price TBC.
