Jonathan Berman scoops single image prize

The winners of the second International Garden Photographer of the Year competition have been announced.

Winners were announced in a range of categories, with the overall winner of the best single image category, Jonathan Berman, scooping a £5,000 prize. Jonathon’s image, In Tresco Abbey Gardens, depicted the gardens on the Sciliy Isles in a dreamlike infrared state.

Other winners included Sebastian Kaps of Germany in the ‘Best Portfolio’ category, and Kat Waters in the Young Garden Photographer of the Year category for an explosive close-up of an echinops flower bursting in to bloom.
