Budding nature photographers have until September 9th to enter the Countryfile Photographic Competition.
Encompassing seas, canals, rivers and lakes, the theme this year is water. There are two prizes on offer: £1000 of photographic kit will be presented to one lucky winner voted for by viewers of Countryfile; and £500 of holiday vouchers is on offer to the winner of the judges? prize. The judges include presenter John Craven, Jo Brand and wildlife photographer Chris Packham. The top 12 photographs will appear in the Countryfile 2006 Calendar, with profits going to Children in Need.
