The Epson Perfection V750 Pro and the V700 Photo are the world?s first flatbed scanners to offer a resolution of 6400×9600 dpi for under £550. This is possible through the incorporation of a Dual Lens System, which includes one lens with a resolution of 6400dpi and one with a resolution of 4800dpi.
The V750 is aimed at professional photographers, and the V700 is aimed at enthusiasts.
Each flatbed includes an 8x10in scanning area and four film holders, supporting batch scanning, compatible with: 35mm strips, slides, and medium and large format film.
Digital ICE Technology removes dust, scratches and dirt that can blight a photo or piece of film. For enhanced speed and quality, the V750 Pro includes a High Pass Optics system, while the Anti Reflection Option Coating reduces the effect of ghosting. The V700 can scan 35mm film in 44 seconds and an A4 mono document in 11 seconds.
Both scanners support Firewire and USB 2.0 transfer, and are bundled with Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 and SilverFast AI6.
