The digital photo frame market is on track to reach a trade value of nearly £670,000,000 across Western Europe this year – with some 26% of that figure in 2009 projected as UK purchases; a significant rise from 2008.

A report from Futuresource suggests that, despite the increase, the replacement market is yet to gain momentum and that a large proportion of digital photo frames are bought as gifts for others.
