Canon has released a firmware update for its EOS 5D Mark II DSLR, allowing the user to manually expose while capturing video.

The DSLR, which offers full HD video capture, will now offer full aperture selection, as well as adjustment of ISO settings and shutter speed.

Canon comments that it has been listening closely to customer feedback and that manual exposure was one of the most requested features.
