The high-quality EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM (24-136mm equivalent) offers a 4-stop Image Stabiliser plus a close focusing distance of just 0.35m throughout the zoom range. It will be available from early October, at an RRP of £529.99.

The 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS (approx. 29-216mm equivalent) is a general purpose zoom designed for EF_S mount bodies that also features a 4-stop Image Stabiliser. Available from mid-october, priced at £849.99.

Both lenses include ultra low dispersion (UD) glass, aspherical lens elements and a circular aperture for more attractive background blur.

The high performance EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, is the EOS-fit macro lens to incorporate image stabilisation, enabling photographers to capture close-ups without the need for a tripod.
The lens is also the first Canon lens to feature Hybrid IS, which corrects both shift movement (problematic when shooting up close) as well as angular movement. It offers up to 4-stop correction for the effects of camera shake, or up to 2 stops at 1.0x magnification.
The Hybrid IS system uses low friction ceramic balls to enable the extra smooth movement needed during macro shooting.

The EF 100mm f/2.8L also features ultra low dispersion (UD) glass, to correct colour aberration, Super Spectra coatings to reduce ghosting and flare, a nine blade circular aperture for improved Bokeh, a high-speed ring type USM autofocus motor, and a three position focus limiter.

The lens features dust and water resistant seals and supports a full range of accessories including: Tripod Mount D, MacroLite adaptor 67, Lens Hood ET-73 and EF12 II and EF25 II extension tubes, plus the MR-14EX and MT-24EX Speedlites, using the MacroLite adaptor.

The EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM is available from early October 2009 priced at £999.99.
