Sony launch Play Memories

Sony has announced a new cloud-based image storage service, dubbed Play Memories, is now available. With up to 5GB available absolutely free it allows any smartphone, camcorder or digital camera to upload images (via a built-in connection or computer) which can then be viewed on a compatible device.

This includes PCs, smartphones, tablets and Sony's Playstation 3 alongside a number of other products. The images can also be shared using templates and can include a personalized message.
