Light & Land, specialists in photographic tours to some of the most picturesque locations in the world, has announced its latest photographic retreat.
The tour, lead by photographers Phil Malpas and Clive Minnitt, takes place on the ‘hidden jewel' of the Isle of Sark. The Isle, nestled between Guernsey and Normandy, is just 2.2 square miles yet boasts over 40 miles of some of the most spectacular and picturesque coastline in the world.
The tour will be based at the luxurious Stocks Hotel, which has been recently renovated and is conveniently located in the centre of the island.
The aim of the tour, which takes place in April 2012 over the course of seven days, is to help guests create a body of work suitable for a self-published artists book. The timing of the tour also coincides with an abundance of wildflowers present on the island at that time of year.
Sark also benefits from a lack of light pollution, with the milky way stretching from horizon to horizon on a clear night, whilst its traffic-free status will also guests to unwind and focus on their photography.
