Sandisk release new SD card for once only use

Sandisk released the new SD WORM card for once only use aimed towards helping the Law Enforcement Agencies worldwide to store media for tamper-proof forensic evidence. The SD WORM card replaces the current need for film evidence and enhances digital photography for evidence collection and other applications.

It is currently being used in the Japanese local Police Force, which is proving to be a great success offering an SD memory card that can match the new demands for mobility, long-term preservation and data integrity (stores data files safely for up to a hundred years.)  “This essential memory solution greatly simplifies the digital evidence handling process while exceeding the government’s requirements for data integrity and longevity” said Director of Product Marketing for Sandisk Christopher Moore. So officers of the world can start scanning those darkroom developed photos and put the memory card to the test.
