The search for the best UK Landscape Photographer has begun, with an official call for entries of the 2009 competition.
‘Take a View Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009’ is unique in that it celebrates the United Kingdom only. The competition, the brainchild of renowned landscape photographer Charlie Waite, offers a total prize fund worth some £20,000, with the winner alone scooping a £10,000 main prize.
As with previous years, winning and commended images will feature in a seven-week exhibition at the National Theatre, London. A book will also be produced to accompany the 2009 competition, itself launched at the exhibition.
Entrants have until 15th July to submit their photographs of British Landscapes, and for more information visit the Take a View website.
