Nikon announces second price increase

Nikon has announced a second price increase, bought about by the effects of the credit crunch.
The manufacturer attributes the increase to ‘the relative weakness of Sterling and the continued strength of the Yen’. Nikon are keen to emphasis, however, that the COOLPIX series and selected DSLRs will not be effected by the latest increase.
An updated list of recommended retail prices will be available from Nikon on 1st March, and the company has vowed to continue to review its pricing.
