Fujifilm has announced the forthcoming UK release of its ‘Big Job’ heavy-duty camera – previously only available in Japan.

Labelled as ‘a hard hat of a camera’, the Big Job HD-3W boasts a spec suited to demanding and challenging environments such as construction sites.

The 6MP ‘Big Job’ has withstood test-drops of up to 70cm, and is also waterproof and dustproof. Its robust design incorporates a rubber handgrip and its 3in LCD is scratchproof, constructed from reinforced glass.

Adrian Clarke, Director of Photo Products at Fujifilm UK Ltd. said, ‘It may have an unusual name, but it’s perfect for heavy industrial use, where high quality, no fuss pictures are required without worrying about damage to the camera’

Fujifilm has yet to announce an RRP, but you can expect to see the ‘Big Job’ in UK stores in August
