Fond Farewell to Dixons



The Dixons brand is to disappear from the high street almost 70 years after its first store opened.

The Dixons brand is to disappear from the high street almost 70 years after its first store opened. The outlet’s parent company, DSG International, announced earlier this month that it plans to rebrand its 190 high street branches Currys.digital. Currys, which was acquired by the Dixons group in 1984, will now have 550 stores in total while Dixons online and airport trading will continue.
