Nik Software and Nikon to develop software

Nik Software and Nikon have announced plans to collaborate on ‘digital photographic software and imaging technology’. Under the agreement both companies will develop software, which will be distributed through Nikon’s worldwide sales channels. Nik will continue to develop its own-branded products. Previously Nikon has produced and distributed Nik Color Efex Pro plug-ins for inclusion in Nikon Capture software. Michael J. Slater from Nikon comments: ‘This co-operative agreement enables both Nikon and Nik to fulfil their common commitment to continuously develop advanced products and technology for the booming digital photography market.’
